When Jimmy Choo launched their first ever collection of trainers they used social networking site Foursquare to create a treasure hunt for its consumers. A pair of trainers would check in at a stylish London location and those following the campaign would have to rush to the location for the chance to win a pair of these exclusive trainers. It was a great use of social networking sites and a way for the consumers to interact with the brand. It was the brand's first foray into social media and it was a relatively successful campaign, using technology to reach and appeal to their existing consumer and new consumers alike.
